From May 1st to October 31, 2021, 23 life-size animals made by the Italian sculptor Davide Rivalta are to be discovered along a path in the Gardens of the Castle of Vullierens. Buffaloes, lions, baboons, rhinos, eagles and wolves have been placed by the artist himself in order to make them fit perfectly with their environment.

Rivalta dialogues and becomes one with his animals. They all exist in the real world. He ob-serves and photographs them in captivity and re-creates their behavior and their character traits with layered strokes.

The Castel is located in Vullierens, in the Canton of Vaud. The sumptuous gardens, unique in Switzerland, enjoy a magnificent view of the Alps, Mont Blanc and the lake and offer a choice destination for lovers of gardens, architecture and art. The exhibition is entirely produced by AP Projets d ‘Art in collaboration with the Château de Vullierens.

Exhibition curator: Pier Luigi Tazzi.
