Le Guetteur

“Le Guetteur” Polygone Riviera, a work by Sacha Sosno, was produced in 2016, in collaboration with the Fonderia Artistica De Carli in Turin.

The team of the future company AP Projets d’Art was able to test themselves and confirm their skills and know-how thanks to this large-scale project. The Fonderia Artistica De Carli was responsible for the creation of the work “Le Guetteur” by the artist Sacha Sosno for the emerging leisure village at Polygone Riviera, located in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

The site was one of the largest in France. The artwork, made of aluminium, consists of the casting of 248 square metres. It is 5 metres high and 15 metres in diameter. It is one of the greatest works ever built in the world.

Even though at the time we were not yet present on the market as AP Projets d’Art, we personally took care of contracts and insurance on behalf of Fonderia Artistica. We also supported the Fonderia in all the phases of the project.

The sculpture was entirely designed and constructed in Turin from a model produced by the artist.
