The sculptor Marcel Mathys, as part of the event “Rondò in Monferrato”, offered a symbolic bronze portal “Vanitas” to the municipality of Grazzano Badoglio (Turin, Italy). Weighing 3 tons, the door consists of four bas-reliefs.
Born in Switzerland in 1933, Marcel Mathys is one of the most important Swiss sculptors of his time. He still lives and works in Auvernier (Neuchâtel, Switzerland).
